Dielectric Boot Testing

On receipt at the laboratory, di-electric boots are documented and then washed to remove any surface mud and grease, and visually inspected. The boots are then left to air dry.

Once dry the boots are electrically tested on our Hanco boot rack in Earthco’s 12 position testing machine at the correct voltage for the their class.

The di-electric boots are then air dried for between 24-48 hours, they then have a further visual inspection, at which point they are stamped according to customer requirements, boxed and returned.

Documentation accompanies the boots through all stages of testing and any failures are recorded and then destroyed.

Failures are only returned if requested by the customer, to prevent failed items being returned to active service.
