Derek is the owner of Earthco, along with his wife Gill.
Derek is heavily involved in all aspects of the business, taking an active part in the testing of all types of equipment. Since setting up the company in 1998 Derek has been the driving force behind the day to day running of the business.
Recently restructuring the business to allow Derek the time to focus more on planning on where to take Earthco in the future.

Gill part owns Earthco with Derek. She regularly works at the lab, helping out with anything that is needed. Gill is fully trained to test gloves, sleeves and team kits.
Paula Peacock

Paula maintains all aspects of accounting from invoicing, paying suppliers through to draft accounts and everything in between.
Managing the PAYE system to ensure up to date with HMRC and that all the staff get paid on time! Producing the electrical test certificates and all general Admin duties to assist the technicians.
Working alongside Mark (General Manager) to ensure the smooth running of the day to day business operations and customer satisfaction, while running along side the chairman in planning the future for Earthco.

Mark programs the work schedule for all recurring work. Managing day to day running of the test lab and working with Paula (Managing Director) and Derek (Chairman) to ensure the smooth running of business operations and customer satisfaction.
Managing the team and being involved in the dielectric testing of sticks, insulated tools here at Earthco and travelling around the country to test sticks at customer depots, and assist Tony Rooks and Derek with vehicle testing.
Mark tests kits, gloves, sleeves and sticks and has been a valued member of the team since 2003 and is very experienced in all aspects of the business.
Anthony Rooks
Vehicle Testing Manager - Trainer

Tony's job involves the dielectric testing of IAD vehicles. Both here at Earthco and travelling around the country to test vehicles at customer depots.
Tony also tests sticks, gloves, sleeves and kits when he is not busy with vehicles.
Tony has CAPS and IPAF qualifications and is able to LOLER test and service vehicles if required.
Simon Allen

Having recently been signed off and approved to carry out IAD vehicle testing Simon now does dielectric testing of IAD vehicle both a Earthco and across customer depots.
Simon is also involved with the dielectric testing of sticks and insulated tools here at Earthco and around the UK at various customer depots.
Testing kits, gloves, sleeves and sticks here at the Earthco test lab when not working on site.
Simon has been a valued member of the team since 2013 and is experienced in all aspects of the business and is also the companies trained 1st aider.
Anthony Thornton

Tony is the main point of contact for the dielectric testing of sticks and insulated tools both here at Earthco and travelling around the country to test sticks at customer depots.
Tony is responsible for the booking of all routine annual stick testing and the production of subsequent certification.
He also tests kits, gloves and sleeves when he isn’t busy with sticks.
Tony has worked at Earthco since 2001 and is experienced in all aspects of safety testing carried out by Earthco.
